We only ask for personal data where this is necessary for the provision of our services and/or for the processing of transactions, such as in the procurement of personnel. In the carrying out of our coaching, outplacement, assessment, personality checks and career advice services, a consensual agreement is upon conclusion signed between the parties which will require their consent for the appropriate use of personal data. We collect and process your personal data carefully and only for the purposes described in this privacy policy and only to the extent necessary. We will store your personal data only as far and for so long as it is necessary for the provision of our services or until you request its deletion.



II. Collection and use of information


When accessing our website, various access data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, name of the file accessed, etc.) is stored. This data is stored without reference to the individual visitor; this infers that the information remains anonymous and therefore your identity will not be revealed. We use this data to continuously improve our website, to provide general analysis and to align our marketing measures to the recognizable needs of the visitors.

IV. User tracking tools

We also use the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use the functions of Google Maps it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing representation of our online offers and to ensure that the locations indicated by us on the website are easy to find. This handling represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

V. Social plugins


We use various integrated tools, including the following: social plugins from XING and LinkedIn. These are social media offers from the Irish company LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company and the German company XING SE. When you visit our website, your browser can establish a direct connection to the servers of the respective social media providers and their platforms and transmit data concerning your visitor behavior to these servers. If you are logged in to one of the social media providers they can assign your visit to the account which you have created there. Steffen & Partner has no influence on the type and extent of data collected and transmitted by social media providers. For all the tools we use, the above notes apply mutatis mutandis.
